At least one Smart car is here-there's a roadstripe-yellow one here in Lexington..69MPG? Not bad. Side note...The gas mileage on hybrid cars really isn't all that impressive-there are standard cars that approach the mileage of hybrids.For the added complexity and potential cost of battery pack replacement,it almost doesn't seem worth it.If I ever wind up with a hybrid, I'm going to add solar assist..that would add mileage,and keep it cool while sitting in a hot parking lot..Scott
