Its been like this , or variations for weeks now. And unless we get lucky, this could continue until September. Not the same weather structure, the stagnant high will more on, but a new one will take its place and repete the process. This could be a bad one. On the other hand, you've been in the tropics, so this ought to be a relative respite. You ought to come down and see what I've been up to, garden and Albedo wise, when you have the time/energy.
On the other hand, things are normally fairly beastly around here (Rochester, NY) this time of year, but we've been having an unusually mild and pleasant summer, and it looks like it's fixing to continue that way. So, clearly, you need to come visit!
(Don't bring the heat with you when you come to WorldCon, though. :-) )
I should! I thought I even sent you mail to that effect a few weeks ago before I left. I'm not up for a lot of travel yet (I certainly can't drive) but give me another week and we'll see. I'm feeling better day-to-day, so that's got to be a good sign.
(Tho' really right now I should go back to BED. What the *@&$(! am I doing up at 6am? I'm so not a morning person...)
