1: I'm amazed that I've lived in Seattle longer than anywhere else I've lived in my life but didn't bike to the Ballard Locks before, um, Sunday.

I love the locks, I used to live right across the street. If you ever get really ambitious you can go across the locks and up a BIG hill to Discovery park. I used to walk that route a lot, but I don't think I could make it up on a bike.
