Four days and counting

Hints of tonal control; hints of pitch control. The middle of my range (basically, hum, the first octave above middle C) is starting to exhibit some signs of normalcy, but it's a bit spotty. Lower range is still quite weak and fairly unstable; upper range is less unstable if I give it some volume, but more if I try to keep it quiet. Strangely, my upper throat/back of my mouth is sore. This is clearly sinus-related, but I don't have any other sinus symptoms.

Three rehearsal days remaining.

Not much economics but

Over the last two weeks, the banks needed to borrow an additional US$40B to meet reserve requirements (for some value of "reserves" which can be described as "money borrowed from the Fed"), bringing the total bank non-borrowed reserve figure to a dizzying, terrifying, and utterly unprecedented US$-101,385,000,000. (That's negative, again.)
