If it was just the shouting, we could deal. I've put a lot of soundproofing in this house (because 20th is kind of busy) and - while that happens a lot - that isn't a problem for us. It's the vandalism, the trash, the assults, the violence, the slumlord-conversions - basic safety and livability is being tossed out the window.

Crime is much higher once you cross the line onto campus. That's how UW runs things - badly, and without regard for the safety of their students, much less us, their neighbours.
