Today in Musk Twitter: Musk attacks critics with false charges of child molestation, mass harassment

Here, go read this long but good thread on Mastodon about Musk's personal use of Twitter harassment and false charges of supporting child sexual assault yesterday to attack his critics.

You might recall he levelled the same completely false charges at a diver who participated in the rescue of children from a cave flood in Thailand, after that diver failed to support Musk's suggestion of bringing in some kind of fictional cave submarine.

This is why Twitter is over. He's turning it into a disinformation hub and weaponising it against everyone he sees as his enemies, and for the so-called alt-right.

It is past time to leave.

eta: every other post I've made about this specific thing to Facebook, and I've made three, have zero interactions. Every other post I've made over the last few days has several. I think Facebook is keeping these post entirely out of peoples' timelines and I don't know why.

This seems to be an accusation he makes reflexively upon being told "no" about a lot of things. Too often to be coincidental. I'm likely not alone in being willing to bet that a careful investigation will find very ugly crimes. If they haven't already been weaponised to bring him to do what he's doing now.

(Not forgetting that Musk and Maxwell photo. Or some of the other accusations levelled against him re: Epstein before that other guy's death.)

Nasty reactions like that seem way too common among powerful people who never, or not nearly often enough, got told "no" when they were young and didn't suffer consequences when they tested that constraint. (Cue the Orange Menace...)

The nonsense continues until the consequences show up. And the more they do, and the more they get away with, the worse the damage. Stopping it early, and at least as hard as necessary, is essential.

Projection seem to be a thing with people on the right wing. To the point that whenever anyone over on that side goes "person X is ...", I automatically assume they're doing it. Whenever they say that something is sinful or horrible, I assume they're doing it.

I haven't been on Facebook much, because most of what I'm getting in my feed is people sharing about what new deaths they have in the family, or obviously only showing things like cat photos because actually commenting on current state of society gets slammed with "don't depress me with that!"
