Okay, first: I think I got it, try this. If it does, this was me not quite understanding enough about how comment links work. XD

The problem with something large like "Comment #" is too much space taken up on mobile. But also, it's not a comment number, it's a depth of reply in chain number, which is the information I'm trying to convey in replacement form given that the actual physical depth is no longer available. And "Reply depth: #" is also large.

I'm still thinking about it. Maybe something like ↳ if the CSS parser will let me? (I kind of doubt it will tbh.)
