Which part? There are so many! I honestly don't know. The RANDR problems? The driver incompatibility with the realtime kernel? The need for the sources to compile a graphics driver?

But I ... RT hasn't been included with Ubuntu install for a while. Not true RT, anyway. Maybe with Debian, but I had to go seek this out myself. Low-latency is an option (and I think sometimes they refer to it as real-time, but it's not completely so) - but low-latench works with the nVidia driver, so that's fine. I'm just...

How do you even have the driver require the kernel sources in 2014? That's really where I go with this, I think. How. Do. You. Even. I mean, there was a time when I was perfectly ready to recompile the kernel to change, oh, IP stack settings. And that time was 1991. But come on.
